Group Visits to Geneseo

Group visits are for high schools and community based organizations to bring a larger group of students to experience Geneseo. We will work with you to design a day best suited for your students, with opportunities to meet with Admissions, our EOP department, take a campus tour and even have free lunch on campus!

Reservations are for for three hours, either from 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm. We look forward to working with you!

Planning and Scheduling

We would love to host your students on our campus! Our group visits are limited to students in grades 9-12 and college transfer students in order to create a visit experience that students can truly benefit from. When beginning to coordinate your group visit, please note that we will require two weeks in advance to adequately plan your visit.

Reserving a Date and Time

Visit times are available Mondays and Fridays during the months of September, October, November, December, February, March, April, and May (with some exceptions during holidays, school breaks, and on dates of large campus visit programs).

The average visit is three hours which includes a campus tour, a free meal and presentations by Admissions and our Educational Opportunity Program department. In order to adequately plan your day, we offer the option of a morning visit or afternoon visit.  Please select your date and time on the calendar below, and fill out the required form at your earliest convenience. Once this is completed, a member of our team will contact you with a tentative itinerary.

Preparing for Your Visit

• If the number of visitors in your group changes after your visit is confirmed, please contact us in advance to confirm your total number
• If your visit includes our walking tour, please inform us in advance if anyone requires special accommodations
• Encourage all in your group to wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
• We will provide campus directions, location to park and where your bus driver should drop and pick you up. If you get lost on our campus, please call us at 866-245-5211.

On the Day of Your Visit

• Please arrive on time. If you are running late, please call us at 585-245-5571 as soon as possible so we may attempt to rearrange your schedule. In the event you are running behind, some of your scheduled activities may need to be cancelled.
• Encourage your students to ask questions!
• Enjoy your time on campus!
